Andrea Anders
Anders was born in DeForest in Wisconsin and is now based on the west coast of Los Angeles. In 1993 she was a graduate of DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She earned the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University. Anders was involved in a romantic relationship to Matt LeBlanc (whom she met at the set of Joey), her ex-costar from the series that ended in a cancellation. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her older brother. Anders her career started with the stage in 2001. Anders was the understudy of Mary Louise Parker for the Broadway production Proof. She also was Elaine Robinson later in The Graduate. Also, she appeared as a character in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. She is also a part of Two New York Stage & Film Productions, Cold/Tender, and New World Rhapsody. Anders first appeared in Fat Pig at Geffen Playhouse on the 7th of May, 2007. Fat Pig was closed by July 1st 2007. Anders played Jeannie the accountant. One of Anders' first appearances on TV was the commercials for Dannon which ran through the early 1990s before returning in 2006. Anders is best known for her role as Nicole Allen in The Class. She was the wife of a former football player, Nicole Allen. Both shows were cancelled even though she was in each episode. Anders appeared in guest roles on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. Anders was featured in five episodes of HBO drama series Oz as Donna Degenhart in 2003, and made a minor appearance in the 2004 movie The Stepford Wives, playing the part of Heather as well as the film Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders appeared on Numb3rs in 2008 too. Anders has also appeared on two unsuccessful TV pilots. Spellbound as well as News To Me were the two pilots that failed on television. Anders was cast most recently on Better Off Ted. It is an ABC single-camera comedy about a work environment written by Victor Fresco.
